Classic Rock Cover Band

Darren Woodhall: vocals/lead and rhythm guitar, harp and general band supremo!

Vintage = early '70s. An original Bedfordian, now lives in Milton Keynes. Influenced by many bands - Quo, Satellites, Bad Company, AC/DC, Gallagher etc.

Equipment is always important, and you don't need huge Marshall stacks to achive a great sound. Darrens gear proves that:

Fender Rossi Telecaster (as prepared by "Telemaster"), with Lace Sensor bridge pickup
Black Fender Tele, with Seymor Duncans
1960 (ish) VOX AC30 with original Celestion Blues (and nice woodchip wall paper coating!)
2005 (ish) VOX AC30 (no woodchip on this one!!)
Boss ME6 Effects Board
Nady Wireless system
Rotosound 10s
Jim Dunlop picks, 0.8mm
Shure microphone
PA is: db-Technologies Speakers plus Mackie mixer

Andrew Austin: bass and backing vocals

Vintage = late '60s. Annoying the neighbours in Northants. Influences from the heavier musical spectrum, Maiden, Sabbath, Motorhead, Priest, infact all the usual 70s/80s/90s suspects.

Equipment:

Schecter Diamond Series Custom 5
Hohner "The Jack V" five string active headless bass
Akai UniBass, Digitech "Bad Monkey" Overdrive, or Digitech Multieffects Unit
Trace Elliot 300W AH300-7 head with 1048H 4x10 320W cabinet
Laney VC30
Elite strings (45-105) or (45-130), although Elixir sound amazing so may be moving to these!!
Dunlop Tortex picks 1.14mm
Sennheiser wireless system

Carl "I Don't Do Quiet" Gibbard: drums and tinitus

Vintage = 60's. Living in Cambs. Carl joins the Parts band of merry men, mid '03, and gives the band a right royal kick-up-the-arse. Musical influences are very wide and varied. Mainstream and weird, its all the same!

Equipment:
Er...drums and cymbals. Can't remember the name of it all!
