Updated the giglist - a few changes, cancellations and new gigs listed.

The giglist is now updated - we'll continue to update when further gigs are arranged. Please check with the relevant venue before attending to ensure the gig is still on.

Well, its been a while since the last update. We are still here......hmm....don't all cheer at once! Gig list updated for 2009. Hopefully a few more to be arranged and I'll try to post them this year! Aim for this year - to find time to record the original tracks we have written (mostly done during '08) - we have around a dozen at the moment in demo form, but its not that easy to get the whole band in one place for any length of time! Hopefully this will happen during this year and we may have a finished product by the end of the year (famous last words!!).

A couple of new gigs added. First one is a local job (well local for Darren, quite loacl for me....and bloody miles for Carl!!), in Milton Keynes. It's a charity gig in aid of the Willen Hospice. Details a bit sketchy at the moment, but it seems it a 2 day "festival", with various bands playing from jazz through to rock. Date: Sat 21st July. Then the weekend after that, we have been added to the bill for the Shona Big Gig - not sure what time yet. And finally one of our favourites has been back in contact (the guy has been recouperating from a car accident so he has a good excuse! Thankfully he is recovering very well). The Bletchley Working Mens Club have us playing back there in December. Looking forward to getting back there!

Picture page updated with some great shots from the NABD bikers gig in April. Big thanks to Martin Parsons for both coming along and taking the time to take the photos!

Feb 07
More gigs added! Our busiest year to date - not sure whats going on, we've almost run out of dates left for 2007!
Great news though - after a great gig at The Plough in Milton Keynes the main BBB guys were suitably impressed to ask us back for more gigs, plus ask us to play at their annual (read 27th) GPO rally, also in Milton Keynes. Room for 4-500people, so looking forward to this one!!
We are also involved in a charitable event for bikers with disabilities, in April. Sounds like a blast, everyone welcome and for a good cause to!
Plus another beer-festival, it may not be as grand as the Rockinbeerfest, but sounds like it will be fun!

Further gigs added - its looking good! Potentially another handful in the pipeline, but we'll wait and see whether these get booked or not!

Dec 06
Re-design of the site completed. We think it looks good, hope you do to! Finished the gigs for the year - and starting to arrange them for 2007. First one in Jan, so about 6 weeks off! Its been a pretty good year - looking forward to 2007!

First gig finally under our belts, in Milton Keynes. A new place for us, and was pretty good. A reasonable playing area (or very good compared to other places!), and a good crowd. Probably fair to say not we weren't 100%, but I think it went better than I was expecting! The place is noise monitored, but in the end, we were playing at a reasonable level, and the thing didn't even twitch! If there is a next time, then we may allow Carl to take the cotton wool off of his rubber sticks! Personally, I bought myself a new bass, and must say, it is a biiiiig improvement to the clarity of the sound, over the Hohner. Sounds different, clearer, more bottom end and a brighter top end and alot more control over the sound with the onboard actives. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!! Wonder who's next with a new bit of gear?!

05 leads into 06......whats changed? Not a lot really! Finally got a reasonable giglist sorted...thats now up, so catch us if you, you won't be disappointed! (Oh, the arrogance! haha!)
Well, 05 ended up being a pretty good, and we all enjoyed the 3-piece experience. Most things sound excellent (when we're playing well, of course!), and it looks like we'll continue as such. The Rockinbeerfest was a great experience, and we're pretty pleased to be asked back to appear 2 years in a row. The gig went well, we were well recieved, job done! After the event, the organisers asked for original songs to be submitted for a benefit CD, so we spent some time recording one of Darren's songs - sounds very good! We don't know if it'll get on the CD, thats up to the organisers, as ever, but we did send it in to www.aiiradio.net, where it did reach the No 1 spot! Hopefully, we'll get some more down during this year.
On another note, we had a "private" message left on the message board, from someone claiming to be our last drummer - maybe its real, maybe its not, we don't know. Anyway, if it is real, and for your benefit, we haven't changed anything on the website, all comments and reviews are as they were written when you were in the band, they were acceptable at the time to you, so therefore nothing will be removed.
Right, 'nuff of that, and roll on 2006. We're looking forward to getting out there and playing again!
